Functionally nothing — 'smoke grenade' usually refers to the canister style with a pull-ring igniter (like our WP40), while 'smoke bomb' is the everyday term. Same cool-burning colored smoke.
Which smoke grenade lasts the longest?
The WP40 wire-pull at roughly 90 seconds of continuous dense smoke. The WP40-D and TP40 burn about 60 seconds, and the EG25 micro and Twin Vent II run about 25 seconds each.
Are these real military smoke grenades?
They're made by Enola Gaye, whose smoke is used on film sets and airsoft fields worldwide — but these are consumer-legal, cool-burning units designed for photography and events, not military ordnance.
