- Operator. An adult who has read the exact device label, handles the device from start to finish and stays clear of guests.
- Photographer. Chooses the camera position first, with a clear view of faces and open space behind the subjects. A second shooter at a different angle gives you a wide frame and a close one.
- Guest wrangler. Tells people where to stand before the countdown and keeps them out of the operating area.

Prop and weather questions
Can a smoke device go inside a pumpkin or cauldron?
No. Do not place an active device inside any prop, box, worn pumpkin head or costume. Use a separate label-compliant outdoor effect position or combine separately photographed frames.
Can children operate a reveal device?
No. An adult operator follows the product label. Give children a smoke-free card, treat box or sign to reveal instead.
What if the wind changes during the setup?
If the operating area or plume cannot stay clear of people and combustible material, cancel the effect. A painted pumpkin, sign or treat-box reveal keeps the planned celebration usable.
