Shipping Policy

  All ShutterBombs, Inc. orders ship from our U.S. warehouse within 1-3 business days. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST on business days typically
  ship same day.

  Hazmat Ground Shipping (Required by Federal Law)

  Smoke grenades are federally classified as hazardous materials. We are legally required to use a certified hazmat courier (FedEx or UPS ground) for
  every shipment. We do not set this price — the carriers do, and we do not profit on shipping.

  Shipping Rates (flat hazmat rate, signature required)

  - $0 – $124.99 order total: $40.00 shipping
  - $125 – $174.99 order total: $30.00 shipping
  - $175 – $224.99 order total: $15.00 shipping
  - $225+ order total: FREE shipping

  One flat hazmat fee covers your entire order regardless of quantity. The more you order in one shipment, the better your per-unit cost — and orders
  of $225 or more ship free.

  Delivery Details

  - Carrier: FedEx or UPS Ground
  - Signature Required: Yes, on all orders (carrier requirement for hazmat shipments)
  - Delivery Time: 2-7 business days after shipment, depending on your location
  - Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships

  Service Area

  We currently ship to all 48 contiguous U.S. states. Alaska and Hawaii are not available at this time due to air freight restrictions on hazardous
  materials.

  Why Is Shipping So Expensive?

  Hazmat ground shipping costs significantly more than standard parcel shipping. Anyone shipping smoke bombs for less is either absorbing the cost or
  shipping illegally — non-compliant shippers risk a $500,000 federal fine for improper hazmat transport. We prefer to do it right.
