Used these for a patriotic photoshoot. Worked really well. I’ve used smoke bombs with a pull ring to light them in the past, but I got these because of the fuse that you light. I personally think that lighting the fuse works way better than the pull ring and it’s safer since you don’t need to be holding the smoke bomb to light it. Colors were great, and the amount of smoke was great too.

I was so excited for the bombs and the photo session I purchased them for. We did have an issue with the red in the pack as it didn’t go off. I’m sure it’s most likely a rare occurrence and with a little photoshop help, no one knew. I was a little bummed. All and all. Great products and I would definitely purchase again in the future.

Are your smoke bombs safe to use around people?
These products create dense colored smoke and become hot during operation. Use outdoors only, avoid breathing the smoke, wear gloves, keep away from people, animals, and combustible materials, and follow the product label and manufacturer instructions.
How long does the WP40 smoke last?
The WP40 burns for ≈ 90 seconds of dense colored smoke. For photography that's enough time to work the scene. Need longer? The WP40 runs ≈ 90 seconds. Need a quick dense burst? The Twin Vent II dumps its charge in ≈ 25 seconds from both ends.
What's the difference between top-pull and wire-pull?
TP40 uses top-pull ignition. Wire-pull models use a side-pull ring. Read the instructions printed on your specific device before activation. Never hold a device while it is producing smoke.
Will the smoke stain my clothes or skin?
Colored smoke may mark clothing, skin, or nearby surfaces. Wear gloves, follow the printed placement instructions and keep people clear of the smoke, and avoid direct contact with the smoke. Follow the product label and manufacturer instructions.
Can I use these indoors?
No. Use outdoors only. Do not use these products indoors or disable smoke or fire alarms. Choose an open area away from buildings, dry vegetation, and combustible materials, and follow local rules.
