How Shutter Bombs Ships
- Carrier: UPS or FedEx Ground (Hazmat-certified carriers)
- Air shipping: Not available — FAA prohibits air transport of pyrotechnics
- Hawaii & Alaska: We cannot ship smoke bombs to HI or AK due to air-only access
- International: Currently US domestic only
- Delivery time: 5–10 business days (ground only)

Hazmat Shipping FAQ
- Why does my order take 5–10 business days?
- Hazmat Ground shipping cannot be expedited. All smoke bombs must travel by ground transportation (no air) per DOT regulations. This means standard ground transit times apply from our fulfillment center.
- Will I be charged a Hazmat fee?
- We absorb most Hazmat carrier surcharges. You may see a small Hazmat handling fee at checkout depending on your order size. This covers the certified packaging and carrier documentation required for legal Hazmat shipment.
- Can I pick up locally or do store pickup?
- Shutter Bombs is an e-commerce brand and does not have a physical retail location. All orders ship from our fulfillment center.
- What if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
- All Hazmat shipments are insured. If your package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive within the estimated delivery window, contact us immediately at support@shutter-bombs.com with your order number.
- Can I return smoke bombs?
- Due to Hazmat regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened or used smoke bombs. Unopened products in original packaging may be eligible for return — contact us within 30 days of delivery.
